EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm Review

Published / by Casey / Leave a Comment

When I first bought my EOS Smooth Sphere, I’ll admit: I was hesitant. I thought that the packaging seemed bulky and the price was kind of expensive. Boy, has my mind been changed! This balm looks great, feels great, smells great, and has lasted approximately forever. I can’t wait to buy more.

First of all, I want to talk about my favorite part of this balm: the scent. I have the Summer Fruit scent and it is amazing. Unlike most lip balms, this scent combines three yummy flavors (peach, strawberry, and blueberry) so you don’t have to choose! It also smells less fake than most scented lip balms do, probably because it actually contains real fruit extracts. The scent is subtle but still sweet. My boyfriend always does a pleasantly surprised “oooo!” when I kiss him wearing this balm.

I also really enjoy how this balm feels on my lips. It isn’t sticky or greasy but my lips feel hydrated and moisturized for hours. It glides on easily and you don’t have to keep putting it on every five minutes because it is still working long after you apply. I also like that this balm is made from natural, organic ingredients that I recognize. I can’t even pronounce half the ingredients on some cheaper brands of lip balms but this has shea butter and natural oils like coconut and olive, so I know it is ok to put in and on my body.

The cute packaging is admittedly what first got me interested in EOS lip balms. The round shape is unique and the colors are so fun. I also like that it is recognizable so when I use my balm, people know it’s EOS. The only problem is it doesn’t fit in most pockets on women’s pants because of the shape. It does fit even in my smallest purses though, so that is a plus. The domed shape of the balm itself is really convenient to apply even though I thought it would be too big at first. You can do one lip at a time or your whole mouth at once if you are in a hurry!

You could click this useful site.

Overall: 9 out of 10, would definitely recommend! EOS lip balms are easy to find at most stores and come in tons of flavors, so I will for sure be buying another smooth sphere balm in the future.  Try clicking walmart.com for more Info.

Pros: scent/flavor, longevity, feel, formula

Cons: large packaging

EOS Lip Balm: The Unique Little Sphere That Found its Way to the Top

Published / by Casey / Leave a Comment

In the beauty industry, there are many new products that are constantly entering the market and all are looking for a place on retailer shelves and ultimately, in the consumers’ shopping bag. EOS, which stands for Evolution of Smooth, is a company that just barely launched seven years ago and yet have managed to make a significant standing for itself in the world of lip balm products. With contenders such as Chapstick which is owned by Pfizer and Blistex, which is owned by Chlorox, one might suppose that the climb to the top could be a long and futile one. EOS however, made a staggering lunge to gain a foothold of the market and ended up as the number two leading lip balm product in the industry.

According to Fast Company.com, the ways that the product was marketed is the primary explanation for how this company was able to attain such a feat. To begin with, the packaging design was one of the first elements that EOS defined as a means to make the product truly distinct and at the same time, user friendly. Packaging styles were studied and tested until the makers finally decided to go with the spherical shaped applicator that is found in most drug stores such as Racked around the country today. The company also wanted to target women since the primary consumers of lip balm are women despite the fact that lip balm is viewed as unisex. To further target the market audience, EOS tapped into the power of advertising and partnered with leading celebrities such as Taylor Swift to help advertise the product. In these ways, EOS lip balm proved that with the right marketing and image, a seemingly basic, everyday product can become a novel and successful brand in its own right.

Best Flavor from Costco EOS Variety Pack

Published / by Casey / Leave a Comment

Having been a long term shopper at Costco and a lover of EOS lip balms, when I saw that Costco carried a variety pack of EOS lip balms I was in love.

There are six different flavors in the Costco variety pack and it sells for a more than a reasonable price, given the high quality of the EOS lip balms. EOS lip balm is petroleum free and uses a variety of higher quality ingredients such as shea butter and jojoba oil. These oils provide extra protection from the elements helping your lips to maintain the moisture that they produce, particularly during the dry winter months.  Related articles here.

The variety pack has six flavors, blackberry nectar, coconut, vanilla mint, sweet mint, pomegranate raspberry, and vanilla bean. All of these flavors appealed to my tastes, although I would never buy coconut on my own. These EOS flavors were all enjoyable and flavorful, yet subtle and non-medicinal tasting, which is a major limiting factor for the competition.   For full details, Go straight to evolutionofsmooth.ca

EOS is also well known for their applicator orbs which are unique and provide a smooth and thick application. The orb is unique, fun, and sanitary as an alternative to the standard tubes on the market today. These orbs are also harder to lose in your purse.

My favorite though was the Vanilla bean which had a delicious flavor that captured the flavor of the vanilla orchid plant without seeming artificial or fake. The vanilla flavor was not overpowering and would work well as an every day lip balm without ever losing your interest. The vanilla flavor was other worldly.

For info check evolutionofsmooth.com

Given the variety in the Costco pack, there is no need to ever divert and buy anything other than this EOS lip bam pack. Try this variety pack and find your favorite EOS lip balm flavor for yourself.

Update Your Wardrobe with Wengie’s Latest DIY Tips

Published / by Casey / Leave a Comment

YouTube Lifestyle Blogger, Wengie, has again wowed us with another DIY guide, this time for your bland and boring looking clothes. Put together a whole outfit with these DIY tricks using ordinary school supplies.

Create your own cute and stylish cutout tank by just simply using a pair of scissors. Take a T-shirt that you want to spice up a bit, and cut off one of the side sleeves. Use the side already cut as a guide to cut the opposite sleeve. You can also create a lower neckline on the tank, and to make the neckline even, fold the cut out part halfway to cut the other side. You can also use the cuff of a cut off sleeve to tie the back straps of the top to make a razorback tank.

Add some color into your plain denim shorts by first dabbing some bleach (use gloves and cover surfaces for protection) with a sponge on the lower portion of the shorts. Wash the shorts, let them dry, and then use the combination of warm water and dipped highlighter ink and start blending the different highlighter colors together to create your own unique design.

Top off your outfit with some galaxy themed shoes. Color a pair of plain white canvas sneakers with various colored Sharpie pens. Then use isopropyl alcohol (at least 98%) to coat the shoes so the colors will blend nicely together. Let the shoes air dry overnight. Then spray the shoes lightly with a white fabric spray to create an extra galactic effect. You can even hand draw a few white stars to add additional celestial flair.

The Bright Future of Basketball Guru Yanni Hufnagel

Published / by Casey / Leave a Comment

When you grow up in Scarsdale and you can’t make the varsity basketball team, you have a few options: find another sport, study hard, or become an excellent basketball analyst.

That’s what Yanni Hufnagel did, and it’s paying huge dividends. As the former assistant basketball coach at Harvard, he enjoyed a four-year run of success. Today, his basketball acumen is legendary and his skills as a recruiter are second to none.

At the tender age of 30, Hufnagel’s resume would make even the most experienced coaches raise their eyebrows. In 2009 he joined Harvard’s program as an assistant coach. Perhaps the highest praise came from a CBS Sports Survey, where his peers acknowledged that his recruiting skills would propel him to the professional level.

His Harvard days included the discovery of Jeremy Lin and Wesley Saunders, who he then helped become top caliber players. Another honor included being selected to a dream team of assistant college coaches.

Moving on to Vanderbilt in 2013 Yanni again struck gold by signing Wade Baldwin IV and Matthew Fisher-Davies to the program. He would next travel to University of California, Berkeley. Jaylen Brown and Ivan Rabb were his top recruits, cementing Yanni’s reputation as an ace recruiter.

He’s won praise from worthy opponents on the college and national level. Besides his chutzpah, Yanni Hufnagel is a convincing salesman – as evidenced by his ability to bring star players to the Ivy League, where scholarships don’t exist.

These days, Yanni Hufnagel works as an assistant coach at Nevada – the team is heading in to the 2017 Mountain West Tournament as the #1 seed.

With a promising future and excellent recruiting skills, Yanni Hufnagel’s ascension to the pro ranks is a slam dunk.

Goettl Air Conditioning Helps a Family

Published / by Casey / Leave a Comment

The HVAC company Goettl Air Conditioning, previously known as Goettl Good Guys Air Conditioning, helped last December a family that lacked an adequate heating system.

Abana Stephenson, mother of two teenage girls, was living with her family in uncomfortable conditions. For starters, her home had no functioning air conditioning or heating system. On top of this, her toilet did not even have a tank. It even lacked a toilet seat. According to Stephenson, her daughters had to sleep in the living room during the winter in order to keep themselves warm.

But her situation suddenly improved after she was contacted by Michael Gamst, the manager of Goettl Air Conditioning. Gamst, along with other Goettl employees, volunteered their time and resources in order to help the family from Las Vegas. Not only that, but the manager did not charged the poor mother at all, who has PTSD.

So Goettl Air Conditioning installed in her home a heating system as well as a new air conditioning unit. The Sunny Plumber, which is associated with Goettl, installed a new toilet. Stephenson was very pleased. According to the Nevadan, her believed in humanity was restored due to the actions of Gamst and his associates, who also provided personal monetary donations.

Goettl Air Conditioning, other than being a “source of light,” also helped the Stephenson family financially in the long run. Since Stephenson’s heating system was very old and not working to its full potential, she was paying over $500 on electricity. But Goettl installed thermostats around her house in order to make her heating system more effective. Basically, Goettl’s installation revolves around zone control. With this type of system, for instance, people can warm or cool their homes on a room-by-room basis. Because of the new system, her electricity bill was cut in half.

Goettl Air Conditioning, which is currently owned by Ken Goodrich, was founded by the pioneers Gust and Adam Goettl. Goettl Air Conditioning is one of the most trusted companies in the HVAC industry. Goettl, other than dealing with heating or cooling issues, also handles problems relating to indoor air quality or energy efficiency. This company also has excellent costumer reviews, which can be found online.
